Found December 12, 2011 on Islanders Hockey Blog:
The Islanders returned Kevin Poulin to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers yesterday. Poulin did not see any game action in the week he spent as Al Montoya’s back up. The move appears to be a precursor to the return of Evgeni Nabokov, who has been on injured reserve retroactively since November 17 with a groin injury. Prior to the injury he was 1-5-0 with a .910 save percentage in eight appearances. The goaltending trio the Islanders had will, for the time being, return to a more conventional goaltending duo of Al Montoya and Evgeni Nabokov.
