In late October I looked at the KHL scoring race. At that time it looked like Alexander Radulov of CSKA Moscow might run away with the scoring title.  That is no longer true.  Sergei Mozyakin of Metallurg Magnitogorsk has taken the scoring lead.  Radulov is the best known KHL player who is not a locked out NHLer.  He led the league in scoring in each of the last two seasons and he is five points behind Mozyakin.  Mozyakin has no NHL experience but he has experience leading the KHL in scoring.  In fact he is the only person other than Radulov to lead the KHL in scoring.  He did so in 2009 and 2010.  At age 31 (compared to Radulov's 26) it is reasonable to think that his days on top of the league may be numbered, but nevertheless that is where he sits.  Mozyakin has 48 points and Radulov has 43 points as is second in scoring.
