LOS ANGELES – The 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a three-year contract with center Jarret Stoll, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. Stoll, who turned 30 yesterday, recorded 21 points (6-15=21) and 60 penalty minutes in 78 regular season games with the Kings in 2011-12.  He added five points (2-3=5) and 18 penalty minutes in 20 playoff games, including the overtime game-winner in the series clinching Game 5 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals at Vancouver. The 6-1, 213-pound native of Melville, Saskatchewan is now signed with the Kings through the 2014-2015 season.  He has led the Kings in faceoff winning percentage in each of his four seasons with the Kings, since being acquired from Edmonton (with Matt Greene) on June 29, 2008.

The Great One's daughter has made quite a name for herself on the interwebs over the last year, and now she may even be dating a member of the Stanley Cup champs.

Paulina Gretzky gets cozy with Jarret Stoll (Photos)

Paulina Gretzky might be dating L.A. Kings center Jarret Stoll. Or maybe they’re just doing it. Either way, one could surmise the two are more than just friends after Gretzky earlier this week posted photos of her and Stoll acting flirty with one another at a pool in Canada. Which would be big news because Stoll just won the Cup with the Kings and Gretzky has nearly broken the...

Paulina Gretzky and Jarret Stoll Seem To Be Enjoying Each Other’s Company

If you are one of Paulina Gretzky’s 41,000 followers on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that she’s been spending a peculiar amount of time with L.A. Kings center Jarret Stoll. She’s posted several photos of her and Stoll, most of which have since been deleted, probably because of people like me writing sh*t like this. Regardless, just because she’s deleted them, doesn’t...

In goal for the Los Angeles Kings, #32 Mike Richter?

Every Rangers fan who followed the team through that magical 1994 season has a nostalgic affection for Mike Richter.  He was the reason myself, and I’m sure countless others decided to put those bulky pads on and have chunks of frozen rubber shot at them.  He embodied everything that Rangers fans loved about that team. To say that his career was cut tragically short by concussions...

Toronto’s Plan Is To Be Like The Kings

from Kevin McGran of the Toronto Star, The Los Angeles Kings are what the Toronto Maple Leafs hope to be — not just Stanley Cup champions but grinding, forechecking, defensive-minded Stanley Cup champions. So says Leafs coach Randy Carlyle. “I look at the way (the Kings) played and the type of team they had was very similar to what we had in 2007 (in Anaheim),” said Carlyle...
