Kings’ Richardson Will Miss Time With Appendectomy

via Rich Hammond of LA Kings Insider, Brad Richardson had an appendectomy last night, according to Darryl Sutter, and Richardson will be sidelined for an undetermined period of time. That’s the bad news for the Kings. The good news is that Jeff Carter seems ready to play, and Richardson likely would have been scratched from the lineup anyway. Andrei Loktionov has been called up...

Kings sorry for wisecrack about Canucks

The Los Angeles Kings say they're sorry. One day after opening their playoff against the Vancouver Cancuks with a 4-2 victory, the Kings found themselves backtracking from a playful jab on Twitter. The team's official account posted a message saying: ''To everyone in Canada outside of BC, you're welcome.'' That didn't sit well with senior members...

The Los Angeles Kings got the first, second and last laughs on Wednesday night, topping the Canucks 4-2 in Game 1 of their playoff series. Apparently the LA Kings have apologized for this witty tweet. I don't understand why they should. I like many other people, thought the tweet was funny and I agree with the tweet. I just hope the Kings can eliminate the Canucks so we don't have to watch their antics and their diving up and down the ice through out the Stanley Cup Playoffs. David Shoalts, Globe and...
