The Los Angeles Kings placed left wing Scott Parse is expected to remain sidelined even though he is eligible to come off injured reserve Thursday.
Parse has been sidelined since he suffered an unspecified lower-body injury on Nov. 8 against Nashville.
"There’s nothing new. Nothing has changed," Kings coach Terry Murray said. "It hasn’t improved, it hasn’t gotten worse. It’s definitely more than a day-to-day situation with him."
The 27-year-old Parse underwent hip surgery in November 2010 and missed five months before returning for two playoff games.
He has scored two goals in nine games this season.
