Philip Anschutz, who put the Kings and their parent company, AEG, up for sale earlier this week, leads the list of 52 names submitted and approved to be engraved on the Stanley Cup. The engraving process was scheduled to begin on Friday in Montreal and is expected to continue into next week. Anschutz, who bought the Kings out of bankruptcy in 1995 with partner Ed Roski Jr., is the first name on the list. Anschutzs wife, Nancy, follows. Roskis name was not on the list. He was identified as an owner in the teams playoff guide. The names of several executives of AEG and the Kings were next on the list. They are Tim Leiweke, the Kings governor; Dan Beckerman, the Kings chief financial officer; and Ted Fikre, the chief legal and development officer of AEG. After that, the players listed are: Dustin Brown, Anze Kopitar, Justin Williams, Dustin Penner, Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Dwight King, Jarret Stoll, Trevor Lewis, Simon Gagne, Colin Fraser, Jordan Nolan, Brad Richardson, Kevin Westgarth, Kyle Clifford, Rob Scuderi, Drew Doughty, Willie Mitchell, Slava Voynov, Alec Martinez, Matt Greene, Davis Drewiske, Jonathan Quick and Jonathan Bernier. Next come the coaches: Darryl Sutter, assistant coach John Stevens, now former assistant coach Jamie Kompon and goaltending coach Bill Ranford. Then staff: video coordinator Ryan Colville; General Manager Dean Lombardi; Assistant GM Ron Hextall; vice president of hockey operations and legal affairs Jeff Solomon; special assistant to the GM Jack Ferreira; director of team operations Marshall Dickerson and scouting coordinator Lee Callans. From the training staff: medical trainer Chris Kingsley, head equipment manager Darren Granger, assistant equipment manager Dana Bryson and assistant athletic trainer Myles Hirayama. Listed next was Luc Robitaille, the Kings president of business operations, followed by vice president of communications and broadcasting Mike Altieri, AEG Sports Chief Operating Officer Chris McGowan, senior pro scout Rob Laird, amateur scouting directors Michael Futa and Mark Yannetti, pro development and special assignment executive Mike OConnell, and player development executive Nelson Emerson. The Kings are scheduled to have the fully engraved Stanley Cup back on Oct. 2. -Helene Elliott
