The New Jersey Devils acquired center Andrei Loktionov from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a draft pick on Wednesday. In a rare deal between two teams that competed against each other in the Stanley Cup finals last year, New Jersey shipped a fifth-round selection in the 2013 draft for Loktionov, who will be assigned to the team's American Hockey League affiliate in Albany, N.Y. Loktionov, 22, is in his fourth professional season. He has seven goals and 14 points in 59 NHL games. The Devils, a No. 6 seed, lost in six games to the Kings, a No. 8 seed, last June, as Los Angeles won its first Stanley Cup.

Brodeur, Clarkson, and Elias Shine in 3-1 Win Over NYR

This game had a terrific opening. Maybe I’m saying that...

Clarkson, Brodeur Beat Blueshirts 3-1

For the New York Rangers, tonight must have seemed familiar as the team was beaten by the strong performances of New Jersey Devils' forward David Clarkson and netminder Martin Brodeur in a 3-1 loss. Clarkson continues to show that last year was not a fluke as he picked up his sixth and seventh goal of the year by doing something the Rangers have not done often enough this season...
