Former teammate Olaf Kolzig believes he knows what is ailing Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin.
"He just has to get back to being the way he was in his younger days and maybe not get wrapped up too much in the rock star status that comes with being Alex Ovechkin," Kolzig told the Washington Post.
Ovechkin is currently mired in a relatively down season. The former Hart Trophy winner and four-time 50-goal scorer has 23 tallies and 21 assists, but is struggling to cope without the services of Nicklas Backstrom (concussion).
Kolzig serves as the team's associate goaltending coach.
