In just his third NHL game Chris Kreider may have scored the biggest goal of his life, as his first NHL tally ended up being the game winner that helped send the Rangers to a deciding Game 7 at MSG on Thursday night against the Senators...

...we've been waiting a long time for this moment Rangers fans and Kreider is as advertised. Anyone still want Nash, because it would have taken Kreider to get him.

...got to say I'm in shock, in a good way, that Torts went with the Stars & Stripes Line of Kreider-Stepan-Cally and boy did it pay off.

...yes, Kreider had the game winner, but Stepan was an absolute beast out there after struggling so mightily this series. There's no substitute for chemistry, which Kreider and Stepan obviously have that through their friendship and time playing together in the Team USA system.

Here's Kreider on his new teammates (via Blueshirts United)...

"The way these guys are, how close they are in the dressing room, it's hard not to fall in love with this group just the way they work and stand up for each other. It stems from the leadership group, and it's why we stayed calm and collected."
