Pat Leonard at the Daily News reports that Chris Kreider (foot bone chip) is expected to resume skating in the next few days.
According to the New York Post, Kreider has been at the team’s practice facility in Westchester working out with trainers, but hasn’t been on the ice since at least last Thursday, when he was a scratch against the Flyers in Philadelphia.
...it's a real shame the foot is holding Kreider back. The Callahan injury would have given him a great opportunity to step up and prove to the coaching staff he belongs in the NHL.
