Evgeni Malkin won’t be making the trip to Ottawa alone, because teammate Kris Letang will be joining him for the All-Star Game this weekend.  This will be Letang’s second consecutive trip to the All-Star Game.  Letang has only been back from injury for 3 games since he went out with a concussion in November.  In those three games he has recorded 2 goals and 2 assists.  Overall in 25 games he’s played this season he has 5 goals and 18 assists.  Letang was missed during his absence and his return has only further escalated the current play of the Penguins.  This is a well deserved honor for Kris Letang and he will no doubt represent the Penguins well.
