Found January 19, 2012 on Bleed Black & Gold:
Kris Letang who has not played since he scored the overtime goal against Montreal back on November 26th, is scheduled to make his return to action tonight.  The Penguins are in New York City ready to take on the Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference leading New York Rangers.   Letang’s return is a great boost to the currently surging Penguins, who have won their last three games.  Letang had 3 goals and 16 assists in the 22 games he’s appeared in this season.  So, he may provide the Penguins with some extra offensive help. In other news, the Pens obviously can’t have a healthy team, Aaron Asham will be out tonight with concussion-like symptoms.    Such is the way with the Penguins, we gain one, we lose another. With the Rangers 10 points ahead of the Pens in the standings a win tonight would be huge for the Penguins to help keep the standings close.

Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting Letang, walla walla bing bang

Kris Letang had what I would call a triumphant return from concussion.  After missing 21 games, Letang played over 24 minutes with an Assist and a +2.  And don’t forget, Pooty-Tang was a Top 10 fantasy Defenseman last year and was well on his way to doing the same this season.  Then he took a shot to the head.  The bad news is concussion comrade Crosby looked great in his...

Throwing Money At UFAs Doesn’t Work

from Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail, Two years removed from a Vezina Trophy season, goaltender Ryan Miller looks completely lost. Ehrhoff got all that money because he scored 50 points for the Vancouver Canucks last year, tied with Dan Boyle and Kris Letang for seventh among NHL defenceman. This year, he’s been hurt and is nowhere to be found in the top 20. For his last...
