Defenseman Filip Kuba scored 3:07 into overtime as host Ottawa moved into first place in the Northeast Division by topping Montreal 2-1 in overtime Friday.

Colin Greening also scored and Ben Bishop turned aside 13 shots for the Senators, who improved to 3-0-2 in their last five games and ended the Boston Bruins' 107-day reign atop the division.

In overtime, Kuba's slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle beat All-Star Carey Price for his sixth goal.

Tomas Plekanec netted a shorthanded goal and Price finished with 31 saves for the Canadiens, who posted a 3-2 shootout victory over the Senators on Wednesday.

Plekanec opened the scoring 8:18 into the contest after wiring a slap shot from the slot which sailed over Bishop's glove for his 14th goal.

Greening leveled the game 6:27 into the third period after collecting a loose puck off a rebound in the slot and backhanding it past Price for his 15th goal.
