Pro Sports Daily:
Although there was some hope that Pittsburgh forward Chris Kunitz (lower body) would return on Sunday, that won’t be the case.
Penguins coach Dan Bylsma reported that Kunitz is “feeling well, but not well enough to be in today’s lineup,” according to NHL.com. This is his second straight game on the sidelines.
Pittsburgh is also missing James Neal and the absence of two of the team’s top-six forwards might encourage Bylsma to pair up Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin more often than normal. For the most part though, it’s projected that Taylor Pyatt will be playing alongside Crosby in Kunitz’s place.

After a tough weekend that saw the Penguins lose two games to the Philadelphia Flyers, head coach Dan Bylsma finally had some good news regarding the team’s injury list. Forward Beau Bennett and defenseman Kris Letang both have been cleared to participate in a full practice. Both players will do so this morning. Bennett’s return is no...
Twitter is on fire! Kris Letang has been cleared to practice. Just when we thought he may be out for the season, comes the news that Letang can practice. That statement doesn’t say anything about him being cleared to PLAY. Yes, there is a difference.Practice is a controlled situation. In a game, he’s a target that can’t be protected. Letang has a very small hole in his heart...
It's not as if the young man's resume needs to be fleshed out.
At age 26, Penguins center Sidney Crosby already has managed to cross winning a Stanley Cup, earning an NHL scoring championship, receiving a league MVP award and claiming a couple of Olympic gold medals off his to-do list.
Among many other things.
But there is at least one feat that has eluded Crosby since...
After suffering a stroke during the first week of February, Pittsburgh Penguins' defenceman Kris Letang has been cleared to practice in full with his team, according to the Penguins official twitter page.It was originally reported that Letang would miss at least six weeks and that the Penguins were prepared to move on as though Letang would not return this season. We're...
Monday morning was a relief for all Pittsburgh Penguins fans...and really anyone who was touched by Kris Letang's story. Kris Letang suffered a stroke seven weeks ago. Doctors said he would be out a minimum of eight weeks to recover. He took it as good news in the sense at least he would not have to hang up his skates at the young age of twenty-six, but for any professional...

from Sam Kasan of PittsburghPenguins.com,
“I was on the ice today because I want to return,” Letang said. “I’ll be able to play again. I don’t know when.”
Head coach Dan Bylsma reiterated Letang’s status as being undetermined.
“It’s not like Paul Martin, who has an injury, a surgery and a date where he’s working back to get in the game. There’s...

After taking two in a row from Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals, Sidney Crosby and the Penguins fell on back to back days to their hated in state rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers.
After being shutout 4-0 on Saturday, Crosby and the Pens returned to Pittsburgh to try to redeem themselves in the second half of the back-to-back, and while they made it interesting the second...
Anything appears possible with 16 games left in the regular season for the playoff-hopeful Flyers.
One scenario is that they face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of the playoffs, and if Saturday was any indication, that’s just fine with the Flyers.
A 4-0 drubbing of the Penguins was perhaps the best 60-minute effort the Flyers have had this season.
“This was one...

This came out hours ago, but we missed it, probably due to all of the time we spent screaming in terror.
Head coach Dan Bylsma announced that forward James Neal is out indefinitely with a concussion following Friday’s practice at Southpointe.
Also, Chris Kunitz is "uncertain" for tomorrow.
Forward Chris Kunitz (leg) practiced Friday after not doing so Thursday...
