The New York Rangers had just about everything go right. Their primary Eastern Conference competitor actually lost a game, and their opponent on the ice gave them an easy path to the go-ahead goal. The Rangers, naturally, were more concerned about their own performance. Ruslan Fedotenko scored with 6:23 left to lead the Rangers past the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Tuesday to create some more space in the tightened playoff race. Marian Gaborik also scored, frustrating the fans of his former team, and Brian Boyle had a goal for the Rangers, who won for the third time in their last nine road games. They're now 6-6 in their last 12 games. ''We were more concerned with our second period than where we stood,'' Boyle said, adding: ''Two points is big for us. But we want to be better.'' Kyle Brodziak and Mikko Koivu scored power-play goals for the Wild, but Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist was otherwise his normally stellar self. He said he doesn't care...
