Found January 21, 2013 on The Bay Cave:

Lightning captain Vinny Lecavalier played his 1,000th game today against the New York Islanders. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay could not find a defensive answer and a late offensive surge was not enough as they fall to the Isles 4-3. The Islanders were out in front 4-0 in the third period before the Lightning can even put a legitimate offensive threat together. Martin St. Louis got the Bolts on the board first when he put the puck past New York’s goaltender Evgeni Nabokov. Later, two quick back to back goals from Benoit Pouliot and Steven Stamkos put the Bolts to within one score with 12 minutes left to play. But that is all the Lightning would score and leave New York with their first loss of the season. Since Vinny’s 1,000th game was an away game, the team will honor him before Friday’s home game against Ottawa. He will be honored with a pregame presentation, commemorating his milestone.
