Found September 06, 2012 on NY Rangers Blog:
In an interview with Andrew Gross at the Bergen Record yesterday, Henrik Lundqvist said he has not thought about whether he would play in Europe if there was a lockout this season. This is contrary to reports out of Europe last week that stated Lundqvist wants to play for his former Swedish Elite League team Frolunda....got to assume the truth is somewhere in the middle. Sure, if the players are locked out for an entire season, I'm sure competing in front of his hometown fans has to be enticing. But Lundqvist is focused on getting ready for the NHL season and the thought of returning to Sweden to play has to be the furthest thing from his mind.Remember to follow me on Twitter & Facebook or e-mail me at nyrfan94@yahoo.com.
