The Toronto Maple Leafs placed center Philippe Dupuis on waivers Monday. Should he go unclaimed by the other NHL clubs, Dupuis will likely be assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Dupuis did not record a point in 30 games with the Maple Leafs this campaign. Last season, the 26-year-old Dupuis collected six goals and 11 assists with the Colorado Avalanche.
