Lockout or no, it does not look good that Marc Savard will be playing hockey again any time soon. The Bruins center, who has been sidelined since 2011 due to post-concussion symptoms, wrote a message on his Twitter feed Monday updating fans on his progress. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much. For the fans that keep asking there is no comeback in the foreseeable future I miss the game it has given me everything I have today — marc savard (@MSavvy91) October 22, 2012 I do in fact hope there is still a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel to play but that rest on the doctor shoulders so far #nochance — marc savard (@MSavvy91) October 22, 2012 Savard also expressed a desire to continue to give back to the sport, but the road back appears to be daunting. Savvy noted that he felt "like crap" trying to work out on Monday, and had previously mentioned that he was still experiencing headaches. The 35-year-old suffered a concussion in 2010 when blindsided ...

Patrice Bergeron Bests Tyler Seguin in Players' First Meeting Overseas (Video)

Relive the 2011 Bruins' Game 5 Double-Overtime Thriller Against the Canadiens Tuesday on NESN

Looking at an 0-2 hole heading to Montreal, the Bruins had seized the momentum in their first-round playoff series against the Canadiens with back-to-back wins at the Bell Centre. Next, they had to make sure they kept it back on home ice. It wouldn't be easy. Game 5 of the 2011 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals would head into overtime, with Nathan Horton and the Bruins fighting...
