The Pittsburgh Penguins today held an alum scrimmage at the Console Energy Center. Boston fan favorite Mark Recchi was there... in full Bruins practice gear.Suck it, *******.You can ask the fine lads over at ThePensBlog how Penguin fans feel about Mark Recchi:Mark Recchi  (06/07). Not only were there rumors of him being a dick in the lockerroom, but he handled the puck like a hand grenade, he was always slow to get off the ice on line changes and worst of all, people thought he was good. he leeched 68 points off of other people's labor - scoring an insane amount of secondary assists and tap ins on a power play that was a 3 man show - with Whitney and Recchi sitting back and cashing in. Despite playing with our top talent, his even strength scoring that season was on par with Eric Christensen and Max Talbot. I hate Mark Recchi.S/T to out buddy Dan Walker for the find.

The Bruins knew they were going to be in the spotlight this season. That comes with the territory as reigning champs. Milan Lucic’s hit deemed ‘illegal,’ warrants 1-game suspension

Milan Lucic is a past offender when it comes to fines and close calls. Not only that, his hit on Zac Rinaldo of the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday was deemed “illegal” by the NHL’s sheriff Brendan Shanahan. Here’s the explanation: A fine 12 months ago and a suspension from the 2009 playoffs were both enough to draw the card of past offender for Shanahan. The...
