There was speculation during the draft that Martin Brodeur's son, Anthony Brodeur, would be drafted by his father's team. As the draft went on, and the young goaltender fell in the order, fans and pundits alike became worried that the feel-good story of the draft wouldn't happen.  They were worried for nothing, as the Devils traded with the Los Angeles Kings to acquire the third to last position in the 2013 draft. There in Newark, legendary Devils goaltender Brodeur had a moment many fathers would kill for: he drafted his own son into the organization: Emotional moment for sure; it's emotional for older hockey fans who remember Brodeur getting drafted by the Devils way back in 1990, because it makes us feel older than dirt. I have seen Marty drafted, and now I have seen Marty draft his son.  Anthony is a goaltender for Shattuck-St. Mary's, which has churned out stars like Zach Parise and Sidney Crosby. He will be playing with the Gatineau Olympiques in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. [follow]
