Mathieu Perreault is the latest Capitals player to row on overseas to sign with a European hockey team. Perreault’s agent confirmed Friday that Mathieu will join HIFK Helsinki in Finland’s SM-liiga. He will be traveling to Finland next eek to prepare to play.
HIFK Helsinki is currently 9th in the standings of SM-liiga.
