University of Michigan defenseman Jacob Trouba (6’2″, 195) is four inches taller and weighs 22 pounds more than Northern Michigan University’s Reed Seckel (5’10″, 173).  And the difference is even greater when Trouba is going full steam and Seckel has his head down. Trouba steamrolled Seckel in last Friday’s game between the two clubs.  As you can see in the video, Trouba caught Seckel high and as a result he received a game misconduct for contact to the head and an automatic one-game suspension.  Seckel, who laid on the ice for several minutes before being helped off, was cleared by doctors to return to action Saturday.  Unfortunately for Seckel, he thought it was a Tuesday. Michigan won in a shootout Friday, but Northern came back and won 4-3 on Saturday.  Trouba is known for being a hitter was selected 9th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Jets.
