After starting out his career with so much promise, Alex Ovechkin has looked like an average player the last few seasons.
Former Bruin Mike Milbury says that is due to a lack of commitment on Ovechkinâs part. He says Ovechkin is inconsistent because heâs not putting his whole mind into being the best player he can be. The former Islanders head coach and general manager said itâs disappointing knowing that kind of talent could lead to a much better performance.
To hear all of Milburyâs critiques, watch the video above.

Matt Hendricks didnât make any friends at the TD Garden on Saturday, and that didnât ring true only on the ice.
Hendricks got into it with a fan on his way to the locker room late in the game, after he lost a spirited scrap against Bruins enforcer Adam McQuaid. As he headed down the hallway, the Capitals center turned and motioned that he would be watching the offending fan,...

Forget hockey plays. What really worried the Capitalsâ Joel Ward momentum-wise in the Capitalsâ 5-3 win over Buffalo Sunday night was the minor power outage at Verizon Center at the start of the third period.

When the Bruins traded away Adam Oates, they received a heroâs ransom in return for the outgoing legend.
In one of the biggest blockbuster deals of the 1990s, the Bâs shipped Oates, Rick Tocchet and Bill Ranford to the Washington Capitals for Jim Carey, Anson Carter, Jason Allison, a third-round draft pick in the 1997 draft and a conditional second-round pick for 19998.
