Milan Lucic is defending his hit on Zac Rinaldo during the Boston Bruin’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, but understands Brendan Shanahan has a job to do.

Here’s the hit:

The hit was shoulder-to-shoulder, Lucic argues.

He’ll meet on Monday with the “Shanaban,” to discuss the hit.

Does this make Lucic a repeat offender?

He, of course, had a hearing on the hit on Ryan Miller when the star goaltender was taken out of the lineup due to a mild concussion, according to team doctors.

Lucic is, without a doubt, an aggressive player, who uses his size to his advantage. Will this change his style, with or without a suspension?

Lucic is in for a long road of close calls and hearings if he doesn’t adjust his style and, quite frankly, his decision-making.

Looch Shanaban'd one game

Milan Lucic is suspended one game, mostly to appeal to the rest of the league that there isn't a Boston bias or some other crazy-ass conspiracy ********.
