Video- Mika Zibanejad Goal, You Decide
Most of the folks I follow on Twitter thought this goal would not count, what about you?

At 11:55 of the third period in the Canadiens/Senators game, video review upheld the referee's call on the ice that the puck deflected off Mika Zibanejad's left skate and into the net in a legal fashion. Good goal Ottawa.

The Senators' first selection, sixth overall, at the 2011 draft, was in Ottawa enjoying a few days off due to the American Hockey League All-Star break when he received a call saying the Senators wanted him at practice.

In light of all the postulating and uncertainty surrounding Mika Zibanejad's health, this is great news for the Binghamton Senators and the organization's most heralded of prospects.
There's no update on whether Zibanejad skated informally or at a team...

Reports have surfaced that Mika Zibanejad, he of many alleged illnesses, is likely suffering from concussion-like symptoms. It certainly explains why Binghamton (and presumably, Ottawa) has shut him down indefinitely, even if executives have tried every move in the book to keep this story from hitting the newswire.

You may recall highly-touted prospect Mika Zibanejad's ugly concussion history from last season. Except things are not quite that simple. Even though the NHL is locked out, one team is preventing their player from participating in the tournament.
Mika Zibanejad is Ottawa Senator...

Zibanejad Not Playing In Bingo
While doing a morning check up of everything Swede within the Senators' system, I noticed these two tweets from Joy Lindsay:
Zibanejad will NOT play for #BSens — tonight or tomorrow. He will travel to Wilkes-Barre tonight and watch both games this weekend. #Sens — Joy Lindsay (@PSBJoyOnTheSens) April 13, 2012

Sens send rookie forward Zibanejad back to Sweden
The Ottawa Senators sent first-round draft pick Mika Zibanejad back to Swedish club team Djurgardens on Wednesday rather than burn the first year of his entry-level contract.
Zibanejad appeared in nine games for the Senators this season, with one assist and a minus-3 rating. A 10th game with Ottawa would have meant the 18-year-old was sticking in the NHL.
The Stockholm native played...
