Chris Peters at the United States of Hockey feels Rangers prospects J.T. Miller (2011 - 1st) and Steven Fogarty (2011 - 3rd) have great chances of making the cut during U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp which starts this morning in Lake Placid...

On Miller, who played on last year's squad which failed to qualify for the medal round for the first time since 1999...

"Miller will have to show the way in camp and should be counted on to be both productive and physical. Returnees are almost never kept home from the tournament and I would not expect Miller to be an exception."

On Fogarty...

"He has a big body at 6-2, 194. By most accounts, his development took a big step forward after moving on from Minnesota high school where his size allowed him to dominate. Fogarty can play well at both ends of the ice and if his two-way game from the BCHL translates to the jump in competition at the Junior camp, he could find himself in the conversation in December."

For more on Fogarty, check out Adam Herman's exclusive interview with the top Rangers prospect from last week.

Brady Skjei (2012 - 1st) has also been invited to U.S. camp.

Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park has more on all their chances of making the team here.

...while I'd love to see Miller representing the United States in December, I'd much rather him wearing a different red, white and blue uniform.

...have I mentioned I love all the size and speed Rangers prospects have? In Gordie We Trust.

The World Junior Championships will be held in Ufa, Russia from December 26, 2012 - January 5, 2013.
