Found September 26, 2013 on The Farm Club:
The Milwaukee Admirals enter the 2013-2014 season having made the playoffs by two points over the Rockford Icehogs. The Admirals finished the season with a record of 41-28-4-3 and 89 points, before falling  to the Texas Stars in four games in round one of the Calder Cup playoffs. The Admirals will have head coach Dean Evason back for his second year as the Ads bench boss, along with assistant coach Stan Drulia. Milwaukee will enter camp with 27 players, including 15 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. Forwards: Here are the forwards that were invited to camp: Barry Almeida, Zach Budish, Patrick Cehlin, Paul Crowder, Mike Embach, Kevin Henderson, Mike Liambas, Joonas Rask, Mikka Salomaki, Vinny Saponari, Josh Shalla, Colton Sissons, Mathieu Tousignant, Mark Van Guilder and Austin Watson. Last year the Ads were lead by forward Zach Hamill with 44 points (19G, 25A) and a +4. The Admirals have a bunch of very young but very talented forwards including Kevin Henderson, Taylor Beck, Mark Van Guilder and Austin Watson. Defensemen:  Taylor Aronson, Anthony Bitetto, Scott Ford, Joonas Jarvinen, Mike Moffat, Chris Reed, Bryan Rodney, Charles-Olivier Roussel, Teddy Ruth, and Scott Valentine. Lat year Mattias ekholm who was sixth on the team in points with 32 points and tied for first on the team in +/- with a +15. The blue line will be solid again this year with retuning players like Scott Ford and Scott Valentine. Look for Taylor Aronson and Charles-Oliver Roussel to make an impact on the team this season. Goaltending: Scott Darling and Magnus Hellberg. The Admirals were blessed to a three goalie tandum with Helberg, Jeremy Smith and Chet Pickard. However this season Pickard is playing Sweden and Jeremy Smith is now in Columbus’s system. Magnus Hellberg will be the clear number one goal this season. Hellberg played in 39 games last season posting a record of 24-13-0, with a 2.14 GAA and a 80 save percentage. Look for Magnus to have another stellar year. Look for him to have 30+ wins and his save percentage well above the 80% mark. The Milwaukee Admirals are going to contend in the Midwest division and the western conference. However I feel that the Admirals will finish in third place in the division behind Rockford and Grand Rapids, as well as finishing in 11th in the Western Conference. It doesn’t matter how it makes MSG Network look when they...
