Lord Stanley's Blog:
By now, most of the comments have been made about Anton Babchuk. Canes general manager Jim Rutherford says the defenseman could go back to Russia to play, or could be traded.
Babchuk, a restricted free agent, was offered a one-year, $1 million contract by the Canes and had no arbitration rights. He has said he will not accept the offer.
What do you think? Should the Canes have offered more? Will Babchuk end up back in Russia? A trade? Dare we say it, could Babchuk end up back on the Canes roster? Or are the Canes better without him?
The floor is open. Have at it.
