Ray Whitney says he likes living in Raleigh and playing for the Canes. The Canes say they like Whitney and what the veteran winger brings to the team. So what now? Will the Canes try to re-sign Whitney, who turns 38 next month? Will they go in another direction and sign another free-agent forward, or trade for one? Or replace Whitney with one of the young guys?
