Blake Geoffrion Considering Retiring From NHL at 25 Years Old, Still Suffering Symptoms from November Brain Injury (Video)

Blake Geoffrion has about as much hockey credibility as any player, ever. Not only is he just the fourth NHL player ever to come out out of the American South, he’s also the first fourth-generation player in league history — in fact, a trade last year sent him to the Canadiens, where his father, grandfather and great-grandfather all played, as well. Geoffrion also won the 2010...

According to ESPN’s John Buccigross, former Nashville Predators forward Blake Geoffrion has decided to retire from the sport at just 25 years old. Habs at the halfway point

I've been traveling the past week, and will be again this week, but as we're at the halfway point I felt I had to opine on this year's Montreal Canadiens team. I can summarize the first two months in one word. Wow. From coach, to first line, to the third line, to the defence, right on down the line, this team has surprised. They are leaner, meaner, faster, stronger...

Former Badger Blake Geoffrion retiring from NHL

To many Badger fans the name Blake Geoffrion brings smiles to their faces. He was arguably one of the most popular players of the past decade or so. It's hard not to like the 2010 Hobey Baker Award winner and was one of three captains on the national runner up team that season. Needless to say he had a bright future ahead of him in the NHL.  However, that once bright future...
