This is beyond the ridiculous. The Pittsburgh Penguins can’t keep an above-average player in the lineup for more than a month at a time.
The team learned today that defenseman Zbynek Michalek will miss about a month with a broken finger.
Michalek suffered the injury while blocking a shot in the third period of Saturday’s 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils.
Not much news on any of the other injury fronts, but you can be sure I’ll have it when it comes.
The Penguins take on the New York Islanders tomorrow night at that joke of an arena they call Nassau Coliseum.
