Yesterday’s results:Coyotes 1, Predators 0
RLD 3 stars of the night:1. Mike Smith (25 saves, shutout)2. Pekka Rinne (23 saves)3. Shane Doan (game-winning goal)---
Tonight’s slate:Rangers @ Capitals, 12:30 ET, Game 4

#1 New York Rangers @ #7 Washington CapitalsGame 4… 12:30 ET… TV: NBC, CBC
Series: 2-1 Rangers
Projected starting goaltenders:NYR-   Henrik Lundqvist (Playoff stats: 6-4, 1.55 GAA)WAS-   Braden Holtby (Playoff stats: 5-5, 1.94 GAA)
Injury report:NYR-   Brandon Dubinsky (leg, out), Mats Zuccarello (wrist, out), Michael Sauer (concussion, out)WAS-   Tomas Vokoun and Tom Poti (groin, out)
Game thoughts:Thankfully, the Rangers and Capitals have two full days off before resuming play. On Wednesday night, these two squads plowed through almost six full periods of hockey before Marian Gaborik got his first taste of playoff stardom. But none of that matters as both teams hit the reset button and prepare to once again face off.

Following their demoralizing Game 3 loss, the Capitals will need to bounce back. If they can't find a way to win on home ice, they will then be tasked with the up-hill battle of fending off elimination in front of a raucous Madison Square Garden crowd. Expect the Verizon Center to stay behind the Caps today, and to 'Rock the Red' as they hope for Alex Ovechkin and company can even the series.

Regardless, it feels like the Rangers have all the momentum.Prediction: Rangers 4, Capitals 1
