Lundqvist
Andrew Gross at the Bergen Record reports that Ruslan Fedotenko participated in the Rangers morning skate in Boston with John Mitchell and Mike Rupp, however, John Tortorella says he's a game time decision.Tortorella noted that Fedotenko did not suffer a concussion on the hit from Dominic Moore Thursday night. Here's Feds on his status..."I feel better," Fedotenko said. "I don't want to describe all the medical stuff. I'm a game-time decision, day-to-day."...wouldn't be the worst thing to sit Fedotenko one more game to keep Bickel's toughness in the line-up against the Bruins. Meanwhile it will be a battle between the two two goaltenders in the league (in my opinion) as Henrik Lundqvist and Tim Thomas will get the starts for their respective teams. ...i do love a great goaltending match-up. Ruslan Fedotenko Not Skating in Practice

It was decided just prior to gametime yesterday in Boston that forward Ruslan Fedotenko would miss his third consecutive game after taking a high hit to the head last week against the Lightning. However, during the team's morning skate earlier on Tuesday, Fedotenko was in attendance and said that he was feeling better. This hinted that he was close to returning to the lineup...

Hendrik Lundqvist to Get the Start in Net, Ruslan Fedotenko a Game-Time Decision for Rangers Against Bruins

BOSTON – The Bruins and Rangers meet for the second of four clashes this season between the Original Six rivals on Tuesday, but the Rangers won't be returning to Boston again unless the top two teams in the East face each other in the playoffs. That almost seems inevitable, but for now they'll have to settle for a key regular-season showdown, with the Bruins looking to...

Goalies deserve fair consideration in Hart voting

New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist is carrying the Original Six franchise to its best regular season in team history. He has undoubtedly been the team’s MVP since the beginning of the season, posting career-best numbers through mid-February. Should he (and other goalies) be included in the Hart Trophy race? Goaltenders already have their own award, but that should not...

Postgame: Lundqvist Leads Rangers to Shutout Win Over Bruins

The New York Knicks' season may be full of "linsanity" backed by the play of Jeremy Lin, but what the first place New York Rangers have been able to accomplish has been "lundbelievable" thanks to goaltender Henrik Lundqvist. Tonight's 3-0 blanking of the second place Boston Bruins made a huge statement for this team, and that statement is that no opponent...

Rangers’ Fedotenko misses third straight game

BOSTON -- Ruslan Fedotenko participated in yesterday’s morning skate, but the Rangers’ winger was not in the lineup for last night’s 3-0 victory in Boston, thus missing his third straight game since suffering a suspected concussion Thursday night as a consequence of a hit from Tampa Bay’s...

The goal horn had sounded. The red light had flashed behind Henrik Lundqvist. The Bruins, off a point shot by Dennis Seidenberg, seemingly had made it a 3-1 game at 10:01 of the third period.
