Game of the night:
Los Angeles Kings (5-2-1) @ Dallas Stars (7-2-0)
8:30 ET… TV: Local Networks

Players to watch:
LA- Anze Kopitar
After starting the year on a six-game point streak, Kopitar has gone the last two games pointless. That should change tonight.
DAL- Loui Eriksson
Eriksson has also gone two straight games without a point. That is rare for the 26-year-old Swede.

Starting goaltenders:
LA- Jonathan Quick (2011-12 stats: 5-0-1, 0.81 GAA)
DAL- Kari Lehtonen (2011-12 stats: 7-0-0, 1.54 GAA)

Injury report:
LA- Drew Doughty (upper body, out), Colin Fraser (ankle, out)
DAL- None

Game thoughts:
The top two teams in the Pacific Division will once again do battle; Los Angeles beat Dallas 1-0 on Saturday in L.A. The storyline for tonight’s game in Big D is Jonathan Quick, who comes in with a franchise record three consecutive shutouts. Also, Dallas is perfect at home and Kari Lehtonen is undefeated. So something has to give in this one. Quick has had the Stars’ number in his career, while Lehtonen won’t go unbeaten forever. I like the Kings tonight…
Prediction: Kings 3, Stars 2

The rest of today’s predictions:
Bruins over Canadiens
Sabres over Blue Jackets
Rangers over Maple Leafs
Flyers over Jets
Penguins over Islanders
Senators over Panthers
Predators over Lightning
Ducks over Wild
Capitals over Oilers
Coyotes over Devils
