The meteor that stunned Russia damaged an arena that hosts a KHL team.

Arena Traktor, the Chelyabinsk home to the Traktor hockey club, was heavily damaged during the bizarre occurrence and will need to be "inspected and assessed" before playoff games can be hosted there. The league’s website said walls to the arena were damaged.

Traktor wasn't scheduled to play a home game there until Feb. 21, but youth league matches have been postponed for this weekend. Traktor is slated to complete its regular season with a road trip to Magnitogorsk before hosting Gagarin Cup playoff games.

However, that may not happen if inspectors find the building can't be repaired in time.

Pitino on Chris Jones: As good a guard as I've coached

Rick Pitino has coached some pretty good guards during his nearly 40-year career in college basketball.  Recently at Louisville, there was Russ Smith, the two-time All-American, and Peyton Siva, the point guard who led the Cardinals to a national championship in 2013. He had a host of talented players at Kentucky, too, the school with which he won it all in 1998.  A player currently...

Sherman, on Crabtree: I hope to 'choke him out'

Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman and WR Michael Crabtree treated us to one of most epic battles of the 2013 NFL season in the NFC Championship Game. The two were matched up against each other time and time again, and at the end of the day, Sherman won—tipping a jump-ball to teammate LB Malcolm Smith for the game-securing interception in the red zone. And in watching the two...

Report: Tiger Woods paid former A-Rod doctor $76K for 14 visits

Tiger Woods has long been linked to performance-enhancing drug use, though there has been no evidence to support the accusations against him.
