Musings On A Slow Week

It’s been a relatively slow week, not much news, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do a brain dump of a musings for this week. Hope you enjoy my ramblings. If it costs more than $11 million to sign Brian Boyle, Ryan Callahan, and Brandon Dubinsky; I will be shocked.  Absolutely shocked. Apparently there is interest by the Rangers in Sami Lepisto.  The source appeared to be the Finnish MTV, so I’m unsure how credible that source is.  It’s worth discussing though, as he would likely be the seventh defenseman on the roster, and an insurance policy in case Michael Del Zotto and/or Tim Erixon don’t quite crack the roster.  I guess they aren’t keen on keeping Steve Eminger around. So the ESPYs were last night.  Yawn.  Who cares? I’m relatively surprised that Bryan McCabe remains a free agent.  There are several teams still needing to hit the cap floor, and I’d have to assume signing him would get most teams there, right?
