Prior to the Edmonton Oilers game on Wednesday night against the Phoenix Coyotes, Oilers young star Nail Yakupov was caught on camera performing a trick shot.  Sportsnet West was preparing for a pre-game segment when Yakupov was standing on the bench and sent a backhand saucer pass from just over center ice and hit a water bottle that was standing up on the goal line.  This was an incredible display of skill and you can tell that Yakupov was excited he hit it.  Yakupov carried the momentum into the game and scored his team’s only goal in a 3-1 loss to the Coyotes.
