Rick Nash is reportedly unhappy in Columbus.

Some of his friends are claiming that the winger is not happy with the current direction of the team. The team is in last place in the NHL at the moment.

Nash is willing to entertain trade offers, but is not willing to demand a trade to force his way out of town. He has a no movement clause in his contract, which is similar to a no trade clause.

He said back in January that he would be willing to waive his no movement clause to go to a contender. Nash has been the face of the franchise, so it would be hard to trade him.

That doesn’t mean he can’t be traded, as stars have been traded in sports for years. Teams would have to give up a lot to acquire Nash from the Blue Jackets.

Rick Nash unhappy with the direction of the Columbus Blue Jackets

Who could blame Rick Nash for being unhappy with the direction of the Columbus Blue Jackets? Nobody in the hockey world protected It would be the Columbus Blue Jackets sitting in the basement of NHL with 34 points in 52 games at this point in the season. Has Nash Had Enough Of Columbus?

from John Shannon of Sportsnet, Sportsnet has been running the HOCKEY CENTRAL Trade Tracker for a few weeks now in anticipation of the Feb. 27 deadline. Seller's Market

Very interesting comments from Preds GM David Polie on the trade deadline: The problem, Poile believes, is that the vast majority of the league’s other 29 teams feel as if they will be there too. As of the start of play Monday, the difference between seventh place and 12th place in the Western Conference was six points and the difference between seventh and 11th in the Eastern...
