The Nashville Predators opened their preseason on Monday afternoon in Sunrise, Florida, with a 6-3 loss against the Florida Panthers in the first end of a split-squad doubleheader. Florida’s Eric Gudbranson and Scottie Upshall each scored a pair of goals in the Panthers win, while Colin Wilson picked up a pair of assists to lead Nashville’s scoring. Predators free agent signings Viktor Stalberg and Matt Cullen each saw ice time during this game with Cullen picking up an assist in the first period. The Predators take on the Panthers again for the second-half of the doubleheader at 6:00pm. Video highlights will be posted if they come available.
