The Nashville Predators claimed enforcer Brian McGrattan off waivers on Tuesday. McGratton spent last season between Providence and Syracuse of the American Hockey League. The 30-year-old McGrattan collected three goals, 11 assists and 395 penalty minutes in 182 career games with the Ottawa Senators, Phoenix Coyotes and Calgary Flames.

According to TSN's Bob McKenzie, the Predators have placed Zack Stortini on waivers with the intent of sending him to Milwaukee. Simultaneously, the team has claimed fellow enforcer Brian McGrattan off waivers from the Anaheim Ducks. In 182 career NHL games, McGrattan has racked up 395 PIM. He last played in the NHL for the Calgary Flames in the 2009-10 season.
