Voting will begin every Friday morning and conclude on Monday.  The Bruins did not have many bright spots in their 3-1 loss to the Flyers on Saturday. They fell behind for the fourth straight game, this time 2-0, and were stonewalled by Philadelphia goalie Ilya Bryzgalov, who made 33 saves. Nathan Horton provided the lone highlight for the Bruins, and not just by scoring their only goal. A deeper analysis of the play showed how Horton kept working to score on a rebound after making a fundamental pass to Dennis Seidenberg to put the Bruins in position to score. Check out the Amica Coverage Cam play breakdown in the video above.

Anton Khudobin Plays ‘Sunday Savior’ for Bruins in Badly Needed Victory Over Sabres (Video)

And … exhale. The Bruins got back to their winning ways Sunday night against the Sabres, but it wasn’t without its share of drama. Things remained scoreless until late, when David Krejci and Nathan Horton netted goals to give the B’s an edge. Of course, without the great play of Anton Khudobin in the early stages of the game, those late tallies might not have been enough. Dobby...

David Krejci Nets Eventual Game-Winner for Bruins After Two Scoreless Periods (Video)

The scoreboard at the First Niagara Center remained unchanged deep into the third period Sunday night, with both the Bruins and Sabres unable to push across a goal. David Krejci finally changed that with just over seven minutes remaining in the Northeast Division tilt, hammering a Nathan Horton rebound past Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller to give the B’s a 1-0 lead they would not relinquish...

Bruins Shut Out Sabres 2-0

It looked like it was going to be the same story, Bruins come out sluggish and lose a game that they should have won, but the Bruins silenced the haters as they erupted for 2 goals late in the third period to shut the door on Buffalo, and put a positive note to a rather bleak March. It looked like it was going to be a tough night. Backup Anton Khudobin helped the Bruins stay in...

Bruins Will Need Production From Multiple Lines to Get Back on Track Against Sabres (Video)

Claude Julien-coached teams have traditionally been known for their ability put pucks in the net no matter which line is on the ice. That sort of balanced attack has been absent from this year’s Bruins squad, though, and the B’s will need to drum up some production from the third and fourth lines if they want to break out of their recent funk. “When we’re successful, when...

Maine Gladiators Edge Belmont to Advance to Finals of TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 Tournament (Video)

The Bruins hit the road for this weekend, but the ice at TD Garden still saw its share of action. In the second day of the TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 competition, the Maine Gladiators faced off against Belmont, Mass., in a battle of Boys 10 and Under semifinalists. Goals did not come easily, but Maine’s Derek Metivier slipped one past the Belmont netminder to give the Gladiators a 1-0...

March is Over, Thank God

The Bruins have had a pretty miserable March, losing a number of games where they should have easily won, and looking terrible most of the time. Many fans are blaming the personell such as Claude, Chara, Horton and Lucic to name a few. Some are saying Chiarelli has no balls and won't make a deal, even though he offered a decent amount for one of the biggest names on the trade...

Bruins Focused on Players on Team, Moving on After Missing Out on Jarome Iginla (Video)

The Bruins thought they had Jarome Iginla — then they didn’t. After losing out on the longtime Calgary captain to the Pittsburgh Penguins — who had also previously acquired Brenden Morrow and Doug Murray — suggesting it’s panic time for the Bruins might not be too far off the mark. Nonetheless, the players that are actually on the team are staying focused, saying that they’re...

Bruins-Flyers Preview

The Boston Bruins figured Jarome Iginla would be in Pennsylvania for a Saturday matinee with his new team. That will be the case for Iginla, but he'll be across the state while the Bruins try to regroup during this visit to face the stumbling Philadelphia Flyers. Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli thought he had a deal in place to acquire Iginla from Calgary, but the Flames...

(Video) Steve Ott and Tyler Seguin embellishment

It's nice to see that the NHL "finally" gets this, and it's about time that the NHL starts calling the embellishment, fans are tired of watching players diving and flailing all over the ice. Diving is unsportsmanlike behavior and if the refs call this stuff, eventually the players will get the message and stop doing it. Now, it's time for the NCAA on-ice officials...

Bruins Lose Out on Jarome Iginla, Now Look to Other Potential Trade Targets

By Mitch Cole (@DirtyWaterBuzz) Getty Images Wednesday was a whirlwind night in Boston. Just when the Bruins thought they had acquired Flames legend Jarome Iginla in a trade, Calgary called them back and broke the news; Iginla was a Penguin, not a Bruin. It’s one of the strangest situations NHL fans have seen in a very long time. Multiple reports throughout the night indicated...
