Posted to Gorilla Salad's Play LandThe 2014-15 NHL season is getting closer and closer and now NBC has released it’s broadcasting schedule for the upcoming season. Of course the Blackhawks will be on NBC on Jan. 1st for the Winter Classic in Washington. That is a noon game. NBC does the “Wednesday Night Rivalry” Games and here are the Wednesday nights the Blackhawks will be involved in…. December 3 – St. Louis @ Chicago (huge rival) January 21 – Chicago @ Pittsburgh (Not a rival but Sid vs. Toews = ratings) February 18 – Detroit @ Chicago (Not a big rivalry anymore but as always “Detroit Sucks”) March 18 – Chicago @ NY Rangers (This is a ratings game) March 25 – Chicago @ Philadelphia (Small rivals not really also good for ratings). The NHL and NBC will also use Flex scheduling and will announce what game will be aired on Sunday afternoons 13 days before the game. The Blackhawks also play one secondary game on Wednesday on January 28th when they head to LA to play the Kings. That game will be on NBCSN. 53 total views, 53 views today The post NBC Releases 2014-15 NHL Broadcast Schedule appeared first on ✶ Sports Mockery ✶ Chicago ✶.
