When everything was starting to look pretty bleak for the Penguins we get a glimmer of good news.  The Penguins Report said today that both James Neal and Craig Adams were on the ice for morning skate and will be playing tonight.  After Saturday’s loss Coach Byslma said Neal would be out “weeks, not days” with a broken foot.  And Craig Adams who was hurt in Sunday’s practice didn’t seem like it was going to be good news.  So, at least it’s not all bad news today.

Penguins' Staal out 4-6 weeks, Neal has broken foot

The Pittsburgh Penguins received a double dose of bad news on Sunday. Staal was injured on a knee-on-knee hit from New York Rangers veteran Mike Rupp on Friday night. The 23-year-old Staal has collected 15 goals and...

James Neal's Diagnosis Reversed. Are Initial Examinations Too Hasty?

What a difference a couple days make. In the case of James Neal, a couple days was the difference between having a broken foot (as we commented on in a recent article on the injuries mounting in Pittsburgh) and being able to play against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night. I'm not sure which is more bizarre, Neal's changing diagnosis or the bizarre Dustin Penner pancake...

The best part about Ovechkin trucking Craig Adams is it was so close to Pittsburgh’s bench that Penguins actually braced themselves. what not to do when your team is sucking balls

ONE This goes without saying, but don't ******* attack pregnant women. TWO If you are in a drinking mood, and you don't have to be, feel free to buy yourself and all your friends shots and bask in the fact that you have a roof over your head and food to eat and you're doing comparatively well. THREE gear up for the next one like a trooper. FOUR If you have the pleasure...

Senators-Penguins Preview

Sidney Crosby's prolonged absence after returning for eight games seemed to cast a dark cloud over the Pittsburgh Penguins' season, but their captain's status is far from their only concern. Jordan Staal and James Neal are the latest Penguins to suffer long-term injuries, leaving Pittsburgh with a tough hill to climb as it tries to avoid its first five-game losing streak...
