Signing right wing Bobby Butler to a two-way contract is a low risk, high reward move by New Jersey Devils General Manager Lou Lamoriello, who said he could see Butler becoming a top-six forward on the team. Butler is just 25 and has 16 goals and 37 points in 94 career NHL games with the Ottawa Senators. Last season, Butler scored six goals and 10 assists in 56 games for the Senators. If nothing else, Butler will add some scoring punch to the Albany lineup. He is a proven scorer at the AHL level. With Binghampton in 2010-11, Butler scored 22 goals and 11 assists and added 13 goals and 14 assists in 23 playoffs games.
