New Jersey Devils news and notes

First of all, I would like to say that last night was the best game the New Jersey Devils have played all season. Most would argue the game against the Canadiens (3-0 victory) was better but in my opinion this game will do more for the Devils. I say this because the Devils had an early 2-0 goal lead and blew it. However, they didn’t give up and came out with a 5-3 win. Now on to Devils news and injury updates. News & Notes The Devils have sent down D Tyler Eckford and F Tim Sestito and recalled forward’s Stephen Gionta (brother of Brian) and Patrick Davis. Anton Volchenkov is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow night against the Rangers at “the rock.” According to Tom Gulitti, Martin Brodeur only suffered a bruise on his elbow and should be good to go tomorrow against the Rangers.
