Tyler Seguin didn't waste any time making a few enemies in his newest place of residency.
Or did he?
Saturday night, an anti-gay comment appeared on Seguin's Twitter account. A little bit later, he deleted the tweet and said the previous slur was a product of hackers.
Sunday, the 21-year-old posted an apology on Twitter and was temporarily deleting his Twitter account due to "repeated attempts by 'hackers' to try to damage my reputation."
The Stars also made an official statement saying they had "addressed the issue directly" with the new acquisition.
Boston's general manager Peter Chiarelli commented that Seguin needed to be a "better pro" days before the seven-player deal that brought the forward to Dallas.
