For those of you who are hockey rookies, the Gordie Howe Hat Trick goes like this: a goal, an assist and a brawl. Wayne Simmonds ended last night with two goals, an assist and a fight with Pittsburghâ€™s Tanner Glass. And the Flyers won 6-5.
Itâ€™s interesting to note that Gordie Howe only had two Gordie Howe Hat Tricks during his NHL career. Brendan Shanahan is the all-time leader with 17.
