The Detroit Red Wings have announced that right winger Dan Cleary will be out of the lineup for at least four weeks due to injury. Cleary fractured his ankle, and will not be able to play for the Red Wings. This injury comes a week after Detroit lost their superstar center Pavel Datsyuk. Cleary, 32,  leads the team with 16 goals in 35 games so far this season, and he is fifth on the team in points with 26. Cleary’s career has constantly been disrupted due to injuries, as he was forced to sit-out for 18 games last season, and 19 games in the 2007-08 season. This injury may force the Red Wings to make some type of transaction, as they are now without two of their top goal scorers.
