Former Pine-Richland High School forward Brandon Saad is likely to have a spot on the Chicago Blackhawks' roster when their season opens Friday in Dallas. Saad was the only Blackhawks player to appear in all of the team's first six preseason games, notching one goal and two assists, but did not play in Sunday's game against the Capitals, which the Blackhawks lost, 4-1.
